So refreshing to finally have a manager with a winning mentality. Great to hear that he is looking upwards to 6th spot and sees that as where should be aiming for next.
All this talk of survival and mid table respectability we've suffered for years is for the likes of Palace, Watford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Burnley, Huddersfield etc. etc. Not a club if our size and stature. This was the point of moving from from Upton Park so good to finally see some proper ambition at the club.

The best thing Kouyate done yesterday was to take the field in a Crystal Palace shirt.

Thought it was a nice touch for Kouyate to walk in front of each stand and applaude the fans after the final whistle

The morning "papers" are full of "next level" stat-o-rama. When Tomkins lined up in the tunnel, the ONLY current WHU first- teamer from his days was Noble. INteresting.

And he was booked after final whistle, for arguing again with ref over free kick on Carroll. Misses next game. Good work.

From the Telegraph

Not since 1982 had West Ham beaten three sides in a row while scoring three goals in each game. Manuel Pellegrini’s class of 2018 added Crystal Palace to Newcastle and Cardiff on their list of victims after the visitors had taken an early lead through James McArthur.

A trio of second-half replies from Robert Snodgrass, Javier Hernandez and Felipe Anderson were enough to take the points and leave Palace, beaten by 10-man Brighton in midweek, worrying about relegation.

West Ham are 10th and Pellegrini is keen to look upwards. “We are now five points from sixth,” he said. “I always look up. I always talk with the players they must have a winning mentality. They must decide to be a big team.”

.Let`s make it 3-0 against Fulham and really create something for the record books. ! WHF

I thought Carroll would come on after 60 minutes. We looked one dimensional with Chich and Perez, so El Pell hooked Perez.

The game changed; we scored 3 in 15 minutes. Is that Carroll or El Pell? Luck? 2 CP CBs thinking about Carroll?

We could soon reclaim our place as the highest club with a negative goal difference*...

We just have to beat Fulham by exactly one goal, provided Bournemouth lose

*I'm just guessing here, but it feels like we've been that club more than any other club has

Yeah, but it's not funny, is it?

I miss Sam Allardyce insisting IT'S NOT HIS FAULT.

When is he going to get his next job? FFS, don't let it be when Pellegrini retires...

the Barn Owl was very generous in his post match comments saying he thought the first half was even. i thought they were better up to the break, but it's great we now have a manager who makes positive changes rather than hope something good happens

2nd half performance was good, Carroll looked off the pace but to be expected, he did win every header and my only criticism would be of Diangana when he came on, needs to be within range of Carrolls headers, he was miles away.

Playing off a big man he needs to be within 6 yards,

Couldn't believe we were 1 down at half time , I thought we were by far the better team but just couldn't put it away. We got a bit outmuscled up front till Carol came on so even though he didn't pose much of a goal threat he gave the Palace defenders some stick which created space for Hernandez and Anderson, so happy for Shoddy, I really didn't rate him when he arrived but he's run himself into the ground this season and it obviously meant the world to him to score today, really enjoying going to games again!

thought we ran them ragged for the first 25 minutes (shite goal excepted) then our heads dropped and it was fairly scrappy till half time.

nothing more needs to be said about how we started the second, another shite goal against the run of play started the nerves off though and it was a touch and go performance till the end from there.

Bar 20/25 minutes in the second half we looked pretty ordinary, scoring 3 and winning this game is a hopefully a promising sign!

Anderson ran the show, 5 goals in 6 games - he’s proving what an important player he is for us and I’m glad he’s proving the doubters wrong, what a week he’s had.

Snodgrass had a great game and as one of his biggest critics, can’t tell you how pleased I am to see the scottish Pele contributing massively to a winning side.

Rice was OUT-FUCKING-STANDING once again.

Have we turned a corner?

Zaha stunk the place out and behaved like a total cunt.
